Syracuse regionals swap

My Swap was inspired by the Mojo Monday 125 challenge. I made 68 swaps. I hope they reschedule the regional so I will get a chance to swap them.

It can hold a gift card or even cash
I will be posting pics of my Annette's swaps soon plus our shoebox projects that we took for an event Friday night but also had to be cancelled.

Wasted Time

I know I haven't posted for awhile but I was working on things for the friday Syracuse Regionals, that were unfortunately cancelled :( The good side is that my sister Annette and I still had lots of fun in Syracuse. It was going to be my first time going and I needed to have something to carry my swaps in. Now being the mother of Allissa from T.A.P.E.D. by A. Hand that of course ment I needed a bag made from duck tape.

The front flap has a clear pocket so everyone can see my swap.

It even has 2 spots for business cards

Allissa'a 16th B-day

I forgot all about posting this...oops sorry Allissa. I did this card as a challenge awhile ago but then I jazzed it up for my daughters 16th birthday card. She loved it! She wants a older truck like this so bad she goes on the computer just to find them and tell me all about what she wants to do with it. Its wonderful to look at my beautiful young lady and hear her share dreams and ideas that still make her my little girl that she will always be in my heart.

Too Busy

Hello all, Sorry I haven't posted anything but it has been a little crazy around here with the kids out of school this week. Plus I have been working hard on my swaps for the SU regional in Syracuse NY. I will share them with you next week and pics of my sisters also. I'm so excited my sister Annette is going with me. We are staying at an hotel for 2 nights! Why you may ask and we say because we can!!! It will be the first time we have been away from our families for some us time, could be the start of a new tradition. I promise to get back to posting soon.

Combined challenges

I combined two challenges, Mojo Monday 125 & Colour Q 19, and created a card that my 16yr old daughter, Allissa, said "was the most beautiful card I ever made and was by far her favorite!" Although I agree is is a wonderful card I can't say I agree its the "best" I have ever made. The ladies at my library class really loved it also. Let me know what you think.

Valentines Treats

40 Valentines for my girls to share with friends.

I love these I Pods! My 16yr old wanted to make one for her boyfriend so I had to make some for my 11yr old to give to her friends too. Thanks Lorri for sharing the idea.

The Sizzix daisy lollypops were lots of fun to make. The little heart holders have peanutbutter cups inside of them. I have enjoyed working with pinks & reds but I will be happy to move on to pastel colors for Easter.

Hi to all. Sorry for not posting but I haven't been feeling to well. I wish what ever seems to be making me feel yucky would just let me get sick and be done with it. I did do some projects with the local 4H last night. That was crazy but sooo much fun. I will post pics later,  I hope.

Allissa"s Valentine Roses

Can you believe these are made out of duct tape! She will be selling them in school as part of her YEA(Young Entrepreneur Academy) class in high school. She is putting rose oil on them so they smell like roses. I'm so proud of her, she sits and works on them every night. She will be selling them for $3.50 each. I know that is cheap! They really should be about $5 each. I'm surprised at how much duct tape it takes to make one rose. Not to mention her time, about 25 minutes each. Thanks for looking. If you want to see her bags check out her blog that she is working on creating

Curtain Call Act 14

Another color challenge from Stacey's Stamping Stage
I'm very happy with how the card turned out but it took me along time to pull something together, but that is why it is called a challenge. I hope you join me in trying this color combo.
