Gifts for my Sister

Here is the gifts I made for Annette as a thank you for going to Syracuse regionals, yes that were cancelled, with me. She is taking quilting classes so I made this card for here after watching this video on Stampin is my Job. Thanks Barb for the great video.

I also used a couple of empty Hodge Podge containers to make us something to hold our sissors and adhesive. I used the pinwheel design on these to.

Wasted Time

I know I haven't posted for awhile but I was working on things for the friday Syracuse Regionals, that were unfortunately cancelled :( The good side is that my sister Annette and I still had lots of fun in Syracuse. It was going to be my first time going and I needed to have something to carry my swaps in. Now being the mother of Allissa from T.A.P.E.D. by A. Hand that of course ment I needed a bag made from duck tape.

The front flap has a clear pocket so everyone can see my swap.

It even has 2 spots for business cards

Valentines Treats

40 Valentines for my girls to share with friends.

I love these I Pods! My 16yr old wanted to make one for her boyfriend so I had to make some for my 11yr old to give to her friends too. Thanks Lorri for sharing the idea.

The Sizzix daisy lollypops were lots of fun to make. The little heart holders have peanutbutter cups inside of them. I have enjoyed working with pinks & reds but I will be happy to move on to pastel colors for Easter.

Build-A-Bear Valentine

My 1st Build-A-Bear creations. I finally started to get the Build-A-Bear dies. My kids are "to old" for them but I'm not LOL. Lots of little pieces to glue so with  my hands I can't make too many at one time BUT I still love them. Well I'm off to the Dr. Have a stampin great day!

December Chat & stamp Club

I love the way you display this card. Because I like to teach people its ok to purchase SU stuff even when the economy is not to good we puched the Chocolate Chip snowflake from the layer behind Dasher. We also punched a couple of gift tags from the remaining layers.

I think this is sooo cool. I have been seeing these all over the web and finally decided to try one. I have to admit the first couple I made were very frustrating:( but after a couple of tries I found them to be a little easier. I started right out with 2" squares so they could go on the christmas tree. BAD IDEA!! start with atleast a 4" square to get the hang of it then go smaller. Here is the tutorial I followed:

The kids chore chart

Since I'm one of those awful Moms that make their kids do chores I made a chore chart to help them keep track of what chore they had for the day. Okay maybe I should say what chore Jeff, my husband, was going to make them do that day...lol they never listen to me. Jeff says I'm way too soft;)
Each kid has one main chore to do, that's the top row. A chore they my have to help me with on my bad pain days, that's in row two. The very bottom row is extra chores they may have to do or help with on the weekend.
The chores are held on by magnets and usually get moved by which ever child is being the bossiest that night. So yes you guessed it sometimes it was moved twice, the little brats. As life goes My oldest, Zak, when he got a job that ment he could just pay the younger ones to do his chore. I didn't care as long as the chore was done and nobody was fighting. Have a great day. I'm off to reorganize my stamps Out with the soon to be retired and making room for the new to make me inspired :)

Corsage card

The corsage is made with the Sizzix scallop #2. I used Designer paper and die cut 2 of both size scallops. Then I cut each scallop down a valley to the center of the scallop. Then accordion folded the large scallop every two mountains and the small scallop at every mountain. Then glued the two large scallops together by overlapping one accordion fold. Do the same with the small scallops. The small scallop flower will fit over top the large scallop flower perfectly. Put a brad through the center of the corsage and through the ribbon, I used a slip knot on the ribbon to make it easier for the wrist corsage. The brad prongs are what hold it on the card. Now you have an awesome Mother's card esp. from a child. I got the idea from Paper Crafts May/June issue page 69

I will be making an instruction sheet with lots of photos that you will be able to purchase for $10.00.

The blocks have letters on four sides so you can spell out lots of different things. The instructions will come with a complete list of words that I wanted to be able to display. I'm sure you could create more words with the blocks. The card/photo holder are removable so you can create your own look.

Jacobs Ladder

This is a project I did a couple of years ago useing a Simply Scrappin' kit. We have made several since then including on for a book report project and several more for other school project. I would love to show them to you but all the teachers asked to keep them. LOL
